Jon D. Pool grew up locally. He graduated from Emporia High School and Emporia State University. After graduating college, Jon started practicing accounting in 1985. He currently is a member of both the KSCPA (Kansas Society of CPAs) and AICPA (American Institute of CPAs). He also is a member of the Emporia Chamber of Commerce and graduated in the Chamber’s Leadership class of 1997.  Jon and Nancy, his wife of 40+ years, attend Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and have one son and two daughters, and ten grandchildren.  He enjoys golf and spending time with his grandchildren.

Laura Peacock, CPA

Laura (Laurie) Peacock, CPA grew up in the small town of Hampshire, IL then moved to Cottonwood Falls, KS where she graduated from Chase County High School. She graduated from Emporia State University in 1985. She obtained her CPA license in 1991, then worked at Pool and Company Chartered. From 1995 to 2017, she focused on and homeschooled four children and worked at Graves Drug Store. She has been on staff at Pool & Associate Chartered since 2017, and is a member of both AICPA (American Institute of CPAs) and KSCPA (Kansas Society of CPAs). Laurie and Phil, her husband of 30+ years, attend Victory Fellowship of Emporia where they are busy in various areas of ministry and community outreaches. They have three daughters and one son, and four grandchildren. Laurie is a shareholder of the firm with Jon Pool, CPA.
